Jyotika, the heart throb of the South was born on 18th October, 1978. She is the daughter of Chander Sadanah and Seema Sadanah. She has two sisters Nagma and Roshni and a younger brother Rahul. Her father is a film producer and both her sisters are actresses. She is a Punjabi. It was director Priyadarshan who introduced Jyotika to the film industry through his Hindi movie Doli Sajake Rakhna in which she paired opposite to Akshay Khanna. Jyotika’s hobbies are reading books and listening to music. Her favorite author is John Grisham and her favorite music director is A.R. Rahman. Her favorite dish is Butter Chicken. Her key to success is her self confidence and the belief which she has in god. In spite of her father being a producer and her sister being an actress, the roles she got was through her own talent.
